Garikai is a strategic thinker and a relationship builder with over 8 years of experience in the Telecoms, Media and Tech (TMT) industry in Africa. As the Chief of Staff to Deloitte Africa CEO, he has supported the executive leadership in driving the vision, strategy, and operations of the firm across the continent. 

Garikai  also leverages his entrepreneurial spirit and innovation expertise as an Advisory Forum Member at Founders Factory Africa, where he guides and supports the growth of fintech, healthcare, and agriculture startups.

With a background in politics, philosophy, and economics from the University of Cape Town and a Confucius Institute Scholar certificate from Sun Yat-Sen University, Garikai is fluent in English, Chinese, and Shona. 

He has published articles on the adoption of technology in financial services and the urbanization trends in the Global South. He is passionate about creating positive impact and empowering others through his skills and knowledge in project and operations management, strategy and human capital transformation, social networking, analytical skills, and communication.
